The Kansas People's History Project
A
collaborative printmaking project that will celebrate under-recognized
people and events from Kansas history. In partnership with the Watkins
Museum of History in Lawrence and five other arts and educational
institutions from across the state.
Vitoria, Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro, Brasil March-April
I'll be leading a series of mural projects and workshops with local community groups coordinated through the Meridian International Center for Diplomacy. Read more about the program here.

Community Mural Workshop
I'll be working with Professor Thor Mednick's class on a small project in Toledo that takes students through the organizing and technical aspects of doing community-based work.
Hutchinson, Kansas June 15-21
Kansas Mural Workshop
I will lead a week-long work shop that introduces artists to the technical and organizational skills needed to create a community-based mural. Participants will learn by actually making a small mural for downtown Hutchinson. In partnership with the Hutchinson / Reno County Arts & Humanities Council.

2013 Projects
Sioux Falls, South Dakota January and July
Beginning
in January, I'll be working with residents of the Whittier neighborhood
on a large community mural for Meldrum Park. The project is being
supported by an NEA Our Town grant awarded to the Sioux Falls Arts

Southern Graphic Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin March 20 - 23
I'll
be speaking and showing work related to the Occupy Movement and an
ongoing effort to counter Kansas' politicians attempts to turn the
clock back on women's rights, immigration, and support for the arts. More about SGC here.
Waco, Texas April - June
For the fifth site of the Mid-America Mural Project.
Songdo, South Korea April 21 - 30
Invited by Chadwick International School, I'll be working with teens on a mural for Songdo's beautiful new Central Park.
Give Take Give May
